How To Deal With Depressed People

Ok if you’re friends with people dealing with depression, you would know how frustrating and awkward it gets bila depression tu hits them kan ?

Its easy . Do not ever let them be alone . Tahu , mesti dorang yang pinggirkan diri and shut people down kan ? Its because they dont want to bother you with their attitude masa depression tu datang .

Try and talk to them , ajak dorng keluar . Oh and tak payah cakap pasal feelings ke apa kalau korng bukan jenis pujuk memujuk ni . Dorng tak perlu pun pujukan tu – cos they know korng bukan boleh buat apa pun . They just need some company je . To know that they still have value .

Lepastu , please please dont be awkward around them. This is the main reason they shut you out. Sebab tak nak bagi bad vibe dorng tu kat korng . Be chill and buat macam biasa je . Cakap ngn dorng macam biasa . Include them in as much as conversation as possible. Minta pendapat , cerita masalah korang ke apa . Like i say , they just need some reassurance and sense of value .

Ye saya tahu penat . I myself have this and i know how frustrating my friends are with me. Even if they dont say it . Kalau korng penat , kiterang ni lagi penat sbb kene control hari2. We know how much of a mess we are. Most of us are trying really really hard to avoid it and change but hey , we’re humans too .

So like i said , we just need some assurance and some sense of value . Seems needy and sad really (again we know) tapi itulah dia depression. It changes you and messes with you. So always be grateful you dont have to deal with it and bear with us for a while , we’ll be fine eventually .
