Diet, Depressed To Fulfill The Beauty Standard

Assalamualaikum semua. Sejak dua tahun lepas, i’ve been struggling to lose weight. Saya buat some research about diet because i want to work smart. So, heres a few tips yang saya sendiri dah amalkan and it somehow works.

First : Diet is not only about losing weight.

Sila buang mindset itu jauh jauh. Sebab it can lead to depression, anxiety etc. Diet itself mean way of eating, or food intake. Bukan perbuatan menghilankan berat badan. To me diet adalah bertujuan untuk ubah cara our lifestlye-specifically cara pemakanan kita. When u have the right mindset, u akan dapat maintain your body weight sbb kalau semata mata nak hilangkan berat badan u while start gobble up food once u achieve your ideal weight. And that is not healthy. Senario ni biasanya terjadi sbb peer pressure, takut pandangan orang sekeliling, bukan sbb nak ubah cara pemakanan to stay healthy.

Second : Taste your food.

How? Dengan cara kunyah perlahan lahan dan kunyah banyak kali. Sunnah kan. Sunnah haruslah ada kebaikannya. It is proved that bu chewing your food, some sort of pleasure signal is being sent to your brain so u akan cepat kenyang or puas. And u somehow ada self control untuk control your food intake. Ive tried it and it really does work.

Third : Pantang dalam ‘diet’.

It is sugar intake. Jangan berangan nak turunkan berat badan kalau korang minum air manis and suka makan snek yg high in sugar content. That is the mosssstttt basic ok. Drink water. Water is gooooooood. Kalau nak sdp sikit tambah lemon. Jd air lemon. Tp jangan tambah gula.

Fourth : Calorie calculator.

For me, diet ni ada dua fasa. First fasa nak dapatkan berat badan ideal and sihat. Dua nak maintain berat badan. So i guna suggest u guna calorie calculator. Boleh search kat google. Basically u fill in your weight height gender and the calculator will state how much calorie per day u should take in order to lose weight. And how much to maintain your weight.

Fifth : Be strong and determined. Do it for yourself. Learn to love yourself more.

Diet bukan sbb kawan kawan atau adik beradik yang pressure. Do it because u love your body. Diet is indeed a lonely journey especially kalau u obese sbb sometimes the only one who is there for you is only yourself. Lagi lagi dngn beauty standard malaysian yg dah terpengaruh dengan beauty standard korean. According to nowadays society kalau badan korang besar jari kelingking and nampak rangka baru dikira kurus tau. Hahahaha no wonder tengok la artis korea mcm iu yoona. Kadang kadang mcm skeleton pon ada badan diorang, to the point it doesnt look healthy at all.

Sixth : To my dear society. Be more supportive and positive okay.

Berat badan is a very sensitive issue bacause it can lead to eating disorder. If u are blessed with high matabolism and thin figure, why not give support untuk kawan kawan or adik beradik yg dont have much confidence in yourself. Gurau gurau pun korang tak tau how much scars it leave bila korang gurau pasal berat badan, pasal rupa kulit etc. U dont know how lonely it feels. I know cause ive been through those. Life is like a wheel honey. So be alert because kaffarah might be hunting on u. ;)

To all obese boys and girls out there. Be strong and love yourself because u are worth it.
